STATE SIGN ROUTE 89 IN PLUMAS COUNTY A public hearing will be held by the State of Cali- fornia, Division of Highways, to discuss a proposed new route for a section of State Sign Route 89 in Plumas County. This discussion will concern the section of highway between one mile north of Almanor to the junction of State Sign Route 36 in Plumas County. This hearing has been scheduled for 7:30 P.M., Monday, September 17, 1962, in conjunction with the Lions Club meeting at the Cedar Lodge near Chester. The proposed improvement will be developed as the initial two lanes of a future four-lane expressway with control of access as a part of the California Freeway and Expressway System. The public hearing is being held in accordance with the policy of the California Highway Commission and pursuant to regulations of the U. S. Department of Com- merce, Bureau of Public Roads.
