"Pitch Perfect 2" sees the girls' a cappella group return to achieve a new goal. George Clooney plays a former boy genius who explores a secret world in "TomoFowland." Town Hall Theatre brings summer releases, adds matinee "The best of the summer films will make their way to the Town Hall Theatre in the next few months," said Roxanne Valladao, director of Plumas Arts, which manages the Quincy theatre. Regular movie showtimes are 7 p.m. Friday through Monday with an additional 4 p.m. matinee Sunday. "In hopes of expanding weekend entertainment options for the season the theatre will add a new 2 p.m. Saturday matinee beginning with 'Jurassic World' on July 10," said Valladao. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a war rig driven by an elite imperator, Furiosa (Charlize Theron). They are escaping a citadel tyrannized by the immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne), from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane road war that follows. "Jurassic World" plays four days, Friday - Monday, July 10 - 13. Steven Spielberg returns to produce the long-awaited next installment of his groundbreaking "Jurassic Park" series, "Jurassic World." Twenty,two years after the events of Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. After 10 years of operation and visitor rates declining, in order to fulfill a corporate mandate, a new attraction is created to re-spark visitors' interest -- it backfires horribly. Plumas Arts seek calendar SUP nissions Plumas Arts is once again seeking art and written word submissions from Plumas County artists and writers for the upcoming Art & Literary Calendar, a publication produced since 2000. For the first time, the 2016 calendar will be featuring a theme: "Rural Agriculture, Farm and Mountain Life, a celebration of unique ways of cultivating our lives in this beautiful landscape."
